Other names of The Quran are, As Shifa - The Cure. Ar Rukeya - The Remedy. As Salah- The Prayer. Al Hamd - Praise to Allah. Umm al-Quran - Mother of the Quran. Umm al-Kitab - Mother of the Book. Assas - The Foundation. It is necessary to recite surat al Fatihah in salah; Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said, Whoever does not recite Al-Fatiha in his prayer, his prayer is invalid. [Sahih al Bukhari] Also, One is not credited with having observed the prayer without the recitation (of al-Fatiha). [Sahih Muslim] It is a shifa; Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri:

4. Surat Al Fatihah adalah Al-Qur'an Al Azhim. Maksud dari Al-Qur'an Al Azhim adalah surat Al Fatihah mengandung isi yang meliputi semua aspek yang terdapat dalam Al-Qur'an secara keseluruhan. Rasulullah SAW bersabda: "Ummul Quran (yakni, Al Fatihah) adalah tujuh ayat yang berulang-ulang, dan Al Quran Al Azhim)." (HR Al Bukhari)
